How it works
Sponsor matching
Ghost matches real-life moments with the right sponsors. Here’s the flow, whether you host or sponsor.
For sponsors
- 1
Set up your organization, privately
Ghost reads your website for a head start, so some of it is already filled in: organization category, ICP, locations, budget, and what you want in return. Everything stays private except your organization name, category, socials, and point of contact.
- 2
Get matched to the right moments
Ghost sends you only excellent and great fits that match your criteria, each with the rationale behind its tier. Hosts never know they were matched to you. You can also browse every published moment in discover.
- 3
Message the host
Send a short intro: who you are and what you’re thinking deal-wise. The host sees your organization by name; your point of contact is revealed when they reply.
- 4
Propose terms and fund the moment
Select propose terms, enter your amount, and pick the deliverables you want in return. Nothing is binding until you both agree. Once a deal is reached, you send payment through Ghost. We never charge you automatically.
For hosts
- 1
Create your moment
Add the event name, when and where, who’s in the room, the amount you’re seeking, and what you can offer in return.
- 2
Get found by the right sponsors
Ghost surfaces your moment to excellent and great fits only, and any sponsor can come across it in discover. When one reaches out, you see the organization by name.
- 3
Reply when a sponsor messages you
Sponsors move first — you can’t reach them until they message you. Reply and each side’s point of contact is revealed, on your timing.
- 4
Agree on the terms and get paid
Accept, counter, or decline the terms they propose. Once the deal is finalized, get paid through Ghost, then deliver what you promised.
