Ghost helps hosts unlock the value of their communities: matching their moments with the right sponsors, and curating introductions between their attendees.

Hosts and sponsors. Hosts create moments, and Ghost finds the right sponsors to fund them. Sponsors get surfaced the moments most aligned with their goals and the people they want to reach, then reach out to the host.

An organization can act as either, one role at a time. Switch between host and sponsor mode in settings, no second organization required.

Anyone browsing can see moments, though some details are gated until you sign in, and you can't message a host until you sign up or log in.

A sponsor sees the brief, not individual guests. The guest list is shared only after a deal is made, and only if guest list access was part of that deal.

Hosts can't browse sponsors — sponsors always reach out first. When one does, you see which organization it is. Reply, and you each get the other side's point of contact and their details. No reply, no contact exchanged.

For hosts: publish a moment with a short brief, get surfaced to the best-fit sponsors, hear from the ones interested, then talk terms and reach a deal you get paid for through Ghost.

For sponsors: set up your organization once, privately browse only the moments that fit (each rated an excellent or great fit), and reach out under your organization's name. When the host replies, each side's point of contact is revealed and you talk directly. Sponsors are invisible on the platform, seen only by the hosts you choose to reach out to.

Every match carries a tier: excellent, great, good, or okay. Ghost surfaces excellent and great fits only — good and okay matches are never made.

The tier sits on the brief alongside the reasons behind it — how closely the room matches your ideal customer profile (ICP), plus category, location, and budget.

In the host portal, tap "Create a moment." Add the basics, describe who's in the room, and set the sponsorship you want. Publish, and Ghost starts matching sponsors.

The summary a matched sponsor sees: event name, when, where, size, audience, the sponsorship amount requested, what the host can offer in return, and the fit tier. It never includes individual guests.

The host organization's logo, name, and website are public on every brief. What stays private is the people: the host and any co-hosts are named once the host replies to a sponsor.

Whatever fits your moment: logo placement, a speaking moment, branded elements, a set number of tickets, social content, or attendee list access. These become your deal's deliverables.

Where a sponsor asks for attendee list access, they also specify which fields the list has to carry — email, name, company, role, and so on — so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.

Yes, and it stays private to you by default. A sponsor sees the list itself only if guest list access is a deliverable you both agreed to in the terms, and only once that deal is finalized. You control whether to put it on the table at all.

Uploading it works for you either way. Whenever a list is on the moment, Ghost reads it against the sponsor's ideal customer profile and always shows them how well the room matches — the share of the invite or confirmed list that fits their targets. Never any names beyond what you already disclosed in your description of who's coming. Sponsors can judge the return properly, and your guests stay anonymous.

An optional 90-second interview: Ghost asks a few short questions and writes a summary, capturing nuance that's hard to type. No human hears your audio; we keep only the transcript summary.

Once a deal is finalized, the sponsor pays through Ghost and the funds are released to you, minus our 10% commission — a $7,000 deal pays out $6,300, paid to your linked bank account.

Set up your organization: your ideal customer profile (ICP), the types of moments you sponsor, target locations, budget, and what you want in return. Ghost privately surfaces only moments rated an excellent or great fit, so you're never spammed, and hosts never know their moment was surfaced to you. Everything beyond your name, website, and point of contact stays private — matching runs on it, hosts never see it. Review the brief, then reach out or pass — passing clears the match from your inbox, and you can reconsider it later while the moment is still open.

Matches are a shortcut, not a limit: you can message the host and propose terms on any moment that's currently published, whether or not Ghost matched you with it.

Open any published moment — one Ghost matched you with in your inbox, or one you found in Discover — and message the host first: a short intro with who you are and what you're thinking deal-wise. Once you're ready, propose terms from the deal room: your amount and what you'd like in return. Nothing is binding until you both accept.

The host sees your organization by name from that first message. Their reply reveals each side's point of contact and their details. From there they can accept, counter, or decline your terms, each with a note, until you agree.

Not by default. Sponsors fund moments, they don't create them, so your materials live in your organization settings. Your logo or branding appears at an event only if that's a deliverable of the deal.

Terms are locked in the deal room and you pay through Ghost. Deliverables like guest list access unlock then. Contacts were already exchanged when the host replied to you.

Attendee matching is free. For cash sponsorships made through Ghost, we take 10% of what the host receives. It's shown before either side commits.

Sponsors pay through Ghost once a deal is finalized — by credit card or bank transfer — and the funds are released to the host. Ghost facilitates payment but isn't a party to the agreement.

Terms can carry a respond-by date — it's optional, and whoever proposes decides. Where one is set it shows in the deal room, and if it passes without an answer the terms expire — nothing is lost, either side can propose new ones.

Every moment also has a need-by date set by the host, and that's the real ceiling: the deal has to be reached by then, not merely proposed. Any open terms expire on that date if they don't carry an earlier one, and the moment closes to new terms — so the earlier you talk, the more room you both have.

Hosts can push the need-by date back at any time — worth doing if the right sponsor hasn't turned up yet.

Your referral code sits in your account menu. Give it to a brand or host applying to Ghost and it skips review — they're approved instantly.

A sponsor's organization is named from its first message — a host always knows which brand is reaching out. What waits is the people: each side's point of contact, with their name and contact details, is revealed when the host replies.

The host controls that moment — no reply, no reveal. Guest list access is separate: it unlocks only if it's a deliverable of a finalized deal.

Yes, privacy is the default. We share only what's needed to run a moment or complete a deal you agreed to, and we never sell your data. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Beyond sponsorships, Ghost introduces the people in your room to each other — free, and separate from any sponsor deal. It runs from Attendee matching in the host portal.

Three steps: set how you want them matched (pairs or groups of 3–15, how many matches each person gets, and any criteria in your own words, like "mix founders and investors, group by industry"), upload your attendee list as a CSV or spreadsheet — each row needs an email and their networking goals, and anything else you have (name, company, role, industry, LinkedIn, event goals) sharpens the match — then submit.

Ghost weighs every profile against your criteria and emails you a spreadsheet of the matches — the full set, yours to send out however you like. Nobody needs a Ghost account, and the list stays yours — it is never shown to sponsors unless guest list access is a deliverable of a finalized deal.

Once you know who's coming. We recommend running it at least an hour before you need the matches, so there's room to spare, plus whatever time you need to get them out.

How the matches reach your attendees is up to you; the spreadsheet lands in your inbox, and you send it on however suits the moment — an email each, place cards, a message in your group chat.

Most hosts use it for the room itself — who should find whom while everyone's there. It works just as well afterwards; send the matches out once it's over as who to stay in touch with, or reach out to if they didn't meet already.
